Escape From Paradise is a clever mix of both a story mode and a dozen mini games. If you follow the story mode you find yourself guiding your character, RPG style, on an island.
You can interact with other characters and discover objects. By solving puzzles and games you come across you'll be able to advance through the game.
In Escape From Paradise you also need to manage your character well and make sure he's never too hungry or tired or that he is sociable enough.
You can also have him specialize in a craft like carpenter or provider. Even though you can choose between a male or female character and more or less change their appearance, we found character customisation slightly limited.
One of the good points of Escape From Paradise is that you don't need to follow the story mode. The game also lets you play the mini games, which as you'll see are variations of popular timewasters like sudoku, checkers or jumble.
Even though Escape From Paradise lags every now and then, it's offers a nice bundle of mini games and the story mode proves pretty exciting.
